My Favorite Products to Help Tired Looking Eyes

This past year has been a wild one and if you are like me you definitely fixated on some good and bad things while stuck at home. I definitely have noticed the not so lovely things about my eyes — the crepiness, broken capillaries, crows feet —and wished for a magic potion to banish it all away. Maybe it was the mask wearing, but the eyes have definitely been a focus in my beauty routine. I spent the past few months upping my eye care game trying new eye creams, eye patches and masks to help minimize under-eye trouble spots.

The eye area is so delicate and under constant pressure, especially for those sitting in front of a screen all day. I have tried a lot of eye products over the past few years to help with the signs of aging and while nothing will make the issues fully go away, the right ones do help. Less stress, a good night's sleep and laying off the booze can also make eyes look better, but that's not always easy to follow. When it comes to eye creams, I look for ones that nourish and plump while also providing a good canvas for a flawless makeup application.

See below for my tried and true favorites to help revive tired looking eyes:

Incorporate a good eye mask

VIIcode oxygen eye masks feel like a spa treatment for under the eyes. These gel-like patches are infused with anti-oxidants, aloe and anti-inflammatory properties to add intense moisture while also reducing puffiness. You can wear them while you sleep or for a few hours while you watch TV. Wearing the eye patches all night was weird at first, but I eventually got used to them, and it was worth it for the smooth skin I woke up to.

Invest in the right eye cream

A good eye cream is helpful when it comes to treating the delicate skin around the eyes. Over the past year, I've had the best luck with these eye creams to help with just about any of my issues—fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. I've shared my love for MUTHA Up All Night Eye Cream before. This one has a lovely consistency and contains caffeine, pearl extract, hyaluronic acid and peptides to help look like I actually got 8 hours of sleep. It always leaves a pretty finish and works well under makeup, too.

EnvironA Youth Essential Eye Gel is another great option. I don't normally love gel under my eyes, but this one feels so nice and silky and leaves my eyes feeling revitalized after I put it on . It helps minimize fine lines with vitamins A,C and E, a special blend of peptides to revive sun damaged cells and works to plump delicate under eye skin.

It's always nice to have a clean beauty product on hand and GoopGenes All-In-One Nourishing Eye Cream instantly hydrates and refreshes my dry, fatigued under eyes. It also leaves a super-smooth finish perfect for my concealer.

Find The Right Concealer

When it comes to under eye concealer, I find it's best to go with something that is creamy and blendable, but can also brighten the eye area. A shade slightly lighter helps to blur discoloration and dark circles.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is one of my all time favorites. It comes in a range of shades, brightens the eye area and always looks natural. I use the shade Cannelle, which blends really nicely into my skin while covering discoloration.

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer is also another favorite which blurs imperfections and has long lasting coverage.

And another concealer that is always in my beauty kit is the RMS "Un" Cover-Up. It's a clean concealer containing coconut oil so it blends easily and helps cover redness and dark circles really welll while also letting your skin shine through.
