The first few days of fall have been spectacular here in New England. I’m excited to see the gorgeous foliage unfold over the next few weeks and we’re planning on taking some quick weekend trips exploring New Hampshire (I’ve never been), Massachusetts and Rhode Island now that the tourists have departed. Here’s my fall to-do list:
A friend of mine recently moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, which is one of the oldest working ports in the US. The city is walkable with lots of great shops and restaurants. We’re going to spend the day exploring and taking in the fall foliage.
I am really into this and can only imagine the breathtaking views especially when the leaves are at their peak.
I’d love to spend a few hours at The Retreat at Castle Hill Inn (the on site spa) and get a luxurious massage infused with all natural herbal tonics and oils.
Fall’s cooler weather beckons for robust, heartier red wines and I’m looking forward to trying some new varietals such as this one from the Piedmont region of Italy.
I’ve been saying I am going to try dry brushing for over a year now, which helps to stimulate circulation, slough away dead skin, and found one that will work well.
I’m looking forward to entertaining this fall at our new home and this meal looks super-tasty and easy to pull off.
