It’s officially coat season here in New England and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been wearing the same two coats for the past few years (maybe at least four or five years), and while I love my two coats (and they are still in style) it’s definitely time to add some new ones to my wardrobe.
A coat completes the whole look. You can literally wear a white T-shirt and jeans and once you put on a coat it elevates the entire look. There are so many I want this season — ones for super-chilly days and ones you can wear on milder days. Here are some coats that I’m eyeing right now:
A classic duffle coat in a dark hue is perfect to wear for day or night, plus it will never go out of style. I love this one and how you can wear the collar up or down.
A comfortable warm parka is a must in the winter, especially here in the northeast. Love the color and price of this one.
A friend of mine used to wear a duster coat in college, even in freezing temps, and she always looked chic and French-girl cool. This duster coat would dress up any look and is perfect for any occasion.
The most beautiful fall hue that works belted or loose.
I regret not scooping up an amazing plaid Rag and Bone coat a few years ago that was oversize, but super-stylish. I have my eye on this plaid coat that would work with denim and for casual weekend wear.
A classic wool cashmere trench in a pretty camel color will never go out of style.
Faux fur in leopard print is always a showstopper.
